Scott Moderates Panels at GLAAD's First Black Queer Creative Summit

This past weekend in Los Angeles marked another inspiring event in the realm of entertainment and advocacy. The Black Queer Creative Summit, organized by GLAAD and sponsored by Gilead Sciences, aimed to uplift, educate, and offer real career growth opportunities to emerging Black LGBTQ+ creatives in the industry.

Scott Evans had the privilege of moderating two significant discussions at the summit. The first delved into the complexities and strategies for breaking into the creative industry, while the second shifted focus to the exciting avenues within the field of animation.

The air was thick with ideas, energy, and a whole lot of hope for the future. Scott summed up the experience, noting that he was "blown away by the love, support, and creativity in the rooms and is very much looking forward to the collaborations that come out of this summit."

The event offered more than just talk. From keynotes to fireside chats, workshops to mentorship opportunities, it was a comprehensive experience designed to propel the next generation of Black LGBTQ+ artists into the spotlight they rightly deserve.

That's a wrap for now. Stay tuned for the creativity collaborations that are sure to emerge from this impactful gathering.
